"We cannot allow any weaknesses in Ukraine": Zelenskyy holds a meeting of the Staff, names key issues

Zelenskyy assembled the Commander-in-Chief's Staff

On Tuesday, April 25, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a regular meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The participants updated information on the situation on the battlefield, as well as summed up and reviewed the results of the regular meeting in the Ramstein format.

The Head of State announced this in Telegram. He emphasised that Ukraine and its defence forces are constantly getting stronger.

"But we have to accelerate the pace of supplying weapons, because every day of delay is the life of our soldiers," Zelenskyy said.

He said that the commanders of the Khortytsia, Tavria, Odesa and North operational and strategic troop groups had reported on the course of hostilities in the frontline areas within their areas of responsibility.

"Each area of Ukraine's defence is important. We cannot allow any weaknesses in Ukraine," the President said.

According to him, the participants of the meeting also discussed the process of manning the newly created brigades with personnel and equipment, as our soldiers must be provided with everything they need to bring victory closer.

Recall that the day before, Zelenskyy made a working visit to the Zhytomyr region. There, the President held a meeting on the situation in the region and discussed measures to strengthen the state border.

In addition, Zelenskyy heard information about the readiness of the Territorial Defence units, training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for military units and units of the Air Assault Forces.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL:

- Zelenskyy reacted to the shelling of the Ukrainian local history museum in the centre of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, by the terrorist country Russia. The President said that all those responsible for the war crime would be punished;

- On April 24, Zelenskyy and Estonian Parliament Speaker Kaja Kallas held a joint conference in Kyiv, where they signed a joint declaration on cooperation between the two countries. The politicians reached mutual decisions on key issues that are important for our sovereignty and security: victory at the front and joining NATO.
