Ukrainians deserve reliable protection against Russian terror - Zelenskyy on what is needed to protect civilians

Over the past week, the Russian occupation forces have launched about 700 guided aerial bombs and more than 100 Shahed drones at Ukraine. They have once again taken civilian lives and destroyed the infrastructure of our cities. The aggressor country will definitely be held accountable for this terror.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. On Sunday, July 28, he published a video of the fire and destruction that resulted from enemy shelling this week.

"About 700 guided aerial bombs and more than 100 Shahed drones against Ukraine and Ukrainians just this week alone. Our people suffer from Russian terror every day," the President noted.

He added that people in Ukraine deserve a fair and reliable defense against Russian terror. According to him, this can be ensured by long-range and quality air defense systems.

"Every concrete decision of our partners to strengthen our defense can save lives. I thank everyone who understands this. I thank everyone who helps us overcome terror," Zelenskyy said.
