Ukraine's Navy Commander named the condition for bringing Ukraine's victory in the war closer

Ukraine could have won the war faster if it had received permission to strike Russian territory with weapons received from the West. In this case, the defense and offensive potential of the Defense Forces would have been stronger.

Accordingly, the enemy would also behave differently on the battlefield. This opinion was expressed by Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Oleksii Neizhpapa in an interview with Sky News.

"The sooner the Armed Forces receive the necessary capabilities to destroy enemy infrastructure, the sooner we will win," the Vice Admiral said regarding Western weapons.

He is convinced that if Ukraine had greater capabilities in terms of weapons, this war would have unfolded differently.

"If Ukraine had certain types of long-range weapons that could be used deeper into the enemy's territory, of course, Russia would behave differently, including on the battlefield," Neizhpapa explained.

According to him, Russia, knowing the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, "responds to the actions" of our defenders accordingly.

"Putin is behaving like a small-time gangster who knows that if he receives the answer, he will not start a fight... If he realizes that Ukraine can fight back and make him really feel the pain, of course, he will stop all this," Neizhpapa said.
