Two out of five occupiers' airfields in Crimea are now unusable thanks to the Armed Forces: details
Two of the five Russian airfields in the temporarily occupied Crimea have become unusable due to attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian airfields no longer have the same load as they had at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, during a national telethon. He noted that many similar facilities on the peninsula could be used, but the Russians do not want to do so for some reason.
"In fact, they are using these ones, and you can see that they do not want to relocate their aircraft to the mainland of the so-called Russian Federation either. Most likely, for some tactical reasons, so they continue to use the Crimean airfields," Pletenchuk noted.
As a reminder, on August 9, explosions woke up the Russian occupiers in Ukrainian Crimea. The invaders claim that it was their air defense system repelling an attack by drones and Neptune missiles. The loudest was in the area of the Belbek airfield in northwestern Sevastopol.
After that, propaganda Crimean publics began to write that a column of black smoke was rising over Belbek and a very strong burning smell was felt in the coastal zone.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on August 6, a fire broke out and a secondary detonation was heard. Preliminarily, the incident occurred at an ammunition depot near the Oktyabrske airfield.
