The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, said that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the occupiers were constantly trying to contact him. At the time, the official was still working as the deputy head of the Regional State Administration.

Filashkin said this in an interview with Glavkom. In particular, the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia called not only him not, but also all the leaders from different communities in Donetsk region.

"They tried to reach out to everyone. They called everyone who held leadership positions in the communities of Donetsk region. They offered to take their side, saying that we would be better off with Russia than we are now with Ukraine. I blocked everyone on my phone then. I offered them to join the Russian warship and blocked them," said the RMA head.

Now, according to him, the Russians are no longer trying to reach local authorities working in the frontline areas of Donetsk region. The enemy realized it is useless and stopped calling.

"Now, no one addresses me or my colleagues with such proposals. Almost all the leaders who manage the settlements on the front line are law enforcement officers, including representatives of the Security Service. I have worked in law enforcement all my life, so I know for sure that there are no such calls from the occupiers, no such signals from them," Filashkin said.

As previously reported, new curfew rules will come into effect in Donetsk region on Monday, August 12. Depending on the distance to the front line, two schedules will be in effect: from 21:00 to 05:00 or from 17:00 to 09:00.
