Ukraine continues to increase production of domestic missile weapons - the first hundred units have already been manufactured.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his traditional address on Saturday, November 9. He noted that the special production of missile weapons is aimed at additional protection of the country from Russian terror.

"Today I have already held several meetings on defense issues. The first one was about our special production, our strategic industries, our weapons. Oleksandr Kamyshin presented his report," the President said.

He added that this year, there were significant results in production in several areas. This is Ukrainian artillery, namely shells and cannons. These are also drones of different types and for different tasks.

Zelenskyy added that Ukrainian-made UAVs not only help the frontline defend positions and destroy the enemy but also strike at Russia at greater and greater depths.

"We will increase the production. We have already crossed the milestone of the first hundred missile weapons this year. There will be no further details, but I want to thank each and every person involved in this production, everyone who ensures the process goes as it should. And we will have more," the president said.

Zelenskyy also emphasized that more than 800 companies are currently working on the production of weapons for the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine. According to him, for the first time in more than 30 years of independence, not just individual investment steps by partners in Ukraine, but systemic models for investment have been involved.

In particular, this is how Denmark does it, which invests and attracts investments in production. Ukraine has also agreed with France on another model involving technology and the construction of relevant production facilities.

In addition, there are preliminary agreements with other Ukrainian partners to localize weapon production.

"And this is what will constantly strengthen us," the president emphasized.

Zelenskyy also said that during the day he had heard several reports from the military and the leadership.

"The report of the military and the Ministry of Defense. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Barhylevych, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umierov," the president said.

He noted that the Kurakhove direction is now of the greatest importance.

Zelenskyy also emphasized that this week Russia had launched brutal strikes on Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia.

"In fact, there are drone strikes every day. They also use missiles. And every meeting, every negotiation with partners who have appropriate air defense systems is always a conversation about additional protection of Ukraine from Russian terror. Here in Europe, on the continent, there are enough air defense systems that can provide Ukraine with truly reliable protection. We can't understand how the air defense systems are just standing there. Not doing anything when each system can save hundreds or even thousands of lives. We will continue to convince our partners," the President said.

As a reminder, on the last day, Ukraine hosted demonstration tests of technological solutions from domestic manufacturers in the areas of drone swarming for group missions and guided munitions. The event was organized jointly with Brave1 with the assistance of the Ministries of Defense, Digital Transformation, the General Staff and the National Guard.

In his address, the Ukrainian leader paid special tribute to rescuers. In particular, the entire team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which works in areas where there is simply a lack of enhanced air defense capabilities.

"Zaporizhzhia: Ihor Kariahin, Yuriy Shandor, Oleksandr Liashenko, Andriy Pavlenko, and Oleksiy Sukhorukov deserve special thanks. Odesa: Ivan Haitian, Fedir Kaisyn, Vitaliy Labutin, Oleksandr Mykytiuk, Serhiy Rudyi. Kyiv: Oleksandr Chuliuk, Vladyslav Zazymko, Oleksandr Volynets, Vasyl Chornenkyi, Vadym Kozhukhivskyi and Vitaliy Minkov. I thank you guys, and I want to thank all your colleagues!" the President summarized.

As reported earlier, Ukraine is testing the STING Prymara kamikaze drone, which is not susceptible to electronic warfare. It, along with all drones, has protection against electronic interference (EW) through technologies that automatically change communication frequencies and allow the operator to manually switch video transmission channels.
