"Teams are focused on details": Zelensky talks about partners' reaction to Ukraine's Victory Plan

Western partners have responded to the Victory Plan with a practical approach. The teams are now focused on working out the details of effective support.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his speech to the Verkhovna Rada on October 16. He noted that he also plans to present this plan at a meeting of the European Council on October 17.

"Ukraine's partners, who have already been presented with this plan, have taken it very practically and attentively. The teams are now focused on the details for effective support. The teams have started working. Tomorrow I will present the Ukraine's Victory Plan at a meeting of the European Council, in public. But it was very important for me to present it to you," Zelensky said.

Zelensky noted that in non-public conversations with partners, Ukraine often hears the word "negotiations," but the word "justice" is heard less often. Ukraine is ready for diplomatic solutions, but they must be fair.

"But I want to be frank with you about how the situation is being handled in some non-public communication with Ukraine. We hear the word "negotiations" from our partners, and the word "justice" is much less common. Ukraine is open to diplomacy, but to honest diplomacy," the Head of State emphasized.

Zelensky emphasized that the Peace Formula was created precisely to ensure negotiations without coercion to unfair decisions. And the Victory Plan opens this way, ensuring that the Kremlin's leaders will lose the opportunity to continue the war. Therefore, the Victory Plan is the key to implementing the Peace Formula and achieving fair diplomacy.
