"Russia is at war against everything that gives life!" Zelenskyy showed the printing house destroyed by Putin's army in Kharkiv

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy showed the ruins of the Factor Druk printing house in Kharkiv, which was destroyed by a Russian missile. On the Day of Publishers, Printing, and Book Distribution, he thanked everyone who continues to create and distribute Ukrainian books despite all odds.

The Ukrainian leader posted the photos on his Telegram. He stated that the targets of the terrorist state are everything that gives life to the state and the people: culture, development, history, and human values.

According to the President, the printing house in Kharkiv and tens of thousands of destroyed books are just one example of the enemy's cruel and inhuman actions.

"Killed people, burned school textbooks – these are the real targets that Russia chooses for missile strikes. And only appropriate weapons, appropriate protection for all our cities, all our people can stop it," Zelenskyy is convinced.

As a reminder, Zelenskyy visited the printing house in Kharkiv destroyed by Russia on May 24. Terrorists launched a missile attack on it a day earlier, on May 23. The attack killed seven people, injured 21 others, and destroyed 50,000 books.

Russian terror must never go unpunished, Zelenskyy added, and assured that Kyiv is taking steps "to make the Russian state feel the consequences and the price of its evil."

– Zelenskyy said that the missile strike on Kharkiv became possible because Ukraine was limited in its defense. In particular, there is a shortage of air defense systems that the world has.

– The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that there are almost no safe places left in the region, with alerts lasting 16 hours. Due to its proximity to the Russian border, the region is under constant risk of enemy attacks.
