Naval drones will play a key role in liberating the Black Sea coast - Mikhail Fedorov

Mykhailo Fedorov has said that Ukrainian naval drones will help de-occupy the Black Sea coastline

Naval drones, which are already being used by our Defense Forces, will be useful during the de-occupation of Ukraine. In particular, they will play a key role in liberating the Black Sea coast from Russian invaders.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation, told the Newsweek publication about this. He noted that the war against the Russian Federation has made our country a world leader in the field of unmanned weapons technology. We are talking about drones that operate both in the air and at sea.

The naval drones that have recently struck Russian targets in the Black Sea are a unique and classified Ukrainian development.

"Each naval drone is equipped with an autopiloting system, video surveillance subsystems, including night vision, special communication means protected from enemy electronic warfare equipment, backup communication modules, a combat unit, as well as a ground autonomous control station, transportation and storage systems, and a data center," Fedorov said.

According to him, naval drones are used for special operations and, undoubtedly, these drones will play their role in the liberation of the coastal part of the Black Sea temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.

We shall remind you that the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that Ukrainian military drones and naval drones are becoming more and more accurate with each task. According to him, August became particularly successful "for Ukrainian hunters".

As reported OBOZREVATEL:

- On the night of August 4 to 5, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied city of Kerch in Crimea, near the illegally built Crimean bridge. The Russian Federation said a drone attack hit a Russian tanker.

- On the same day, the occupiers hunted for two hours for a maritime drone that sailed toward Sevastopol. In the end, the Russians claimed its destruction.
