Israel has already handed over promised early-warning radar system for air attacks to Ukraine - Ambassador Brodsky
Israel has already handed over the previously promised early-warning radar system for air attacks to Ukraine. The process took many months, but the Israeli side has fulfilled its obligations in full.
The Ukrainian side is responsible for the implementation of the transferred system. This was stated by Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky in an interview with Dzerkalo Tyzhnia.
Answering the question why the Israeli early-warning radar system for air attacks has not yet been launched in Ukraine, the diplomat advised to address the question to the competent Ukrainian authorities.
"This is a question for Ukraine, not for us. We have fulfilled everything we promised. Therefore, please contact your structures that deal with the implementation of the Israeli system," Brodsky said.
At the same time, the Israeli ambassador to Ukraine emphasized that the Israeli side had fully fulfilled its obligations to transfer the system.
"The only information I have from our military, who worked on this system, is that we have fulfilled our promises and handed over to the Ukrainian side everything we were supposed to. It was a rather lengthy process that lasted many months. We have completed it," Brodsky assured.
Israel announced its intention to transfer an early-warning radar system for air attacks to Ukraine back in February 2024, as stated by Israeli representative to the UN Gilad Erdan.
As a reminder, back in June, the Financial Times reported that the United States, Israel, and Ukraine were negotiating the supply of 8 Patriot systems to Kyiv.
