"Don't scare us": Naiev showed how Ukraine defended itself against a possible attack from Belarus

After reports about the arrival of mercenaries of the PMC "Wagner" to the territory of Belarus, the AFU demonstrated how the fighters were preparing for a possible attack from the north. Thus, the network showed how the Ukrainian defenders of the civilian critical infrastructure in the Chernobyl exclusion zone were training.

The General Staff of the AFU showed footage from the training of fighters, which the commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Serhiy Naiev recenlty visited. Regarding the situation on the border, he noted that first of all, the events involving Wagner mercenaries were organized to intimidate and exert psychological pressure on the Ukrainian population.

"We do not need to be intimidated, because we know what we need to do and we are doing everything to prevent enemy reconnaissance sabotage forces from successfully operating on the territory of Ukraine, in particular, in the Kyiv direction in the Chernobyl zone," Lieutenant General wrote on his Telegram-channel.

Naiev also emphasized that in order to prevent possible enemy actions, a number of actions aimed at ensuring security have been taken over the past week. In addition, weekly trainings of personnel are carried out to maintain combat readiness.

Earlier Naiev said that the northern borders of Ukraine are fully under the control of the AFU. Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the Ukrainian intelligence has all the information about the actions of the army of Belarus.
