Ukrainian drones hit the occupiers' base on Lake Donuzlav in Crimea

On the night of July 18, Ukrainian naval and aerial drones struck a Russian coast guard base on Lake Donuzlav in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Russian Navy was conducting exercises to protect the area.

OBOZ.UA learned about this from its informed sources. The effective operation was prepared jointly by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is noted that as a result of the combined attack, the following were damaged and disabled:

– the headquarters with the control center;

– ammunition and equipment depot;

– power substation;

– technical facilities;

– enemy firing positions.

According to the source, the Russian Navy's exercises were obviously a failure, as the occupiers were unable to even defend their own base, let alone the lake area.

"This is yet another reminder to the enemy that Ukrainian Crimea is turning into a trap for Russians, where they will be systematically destroyed. Because, as the head of the SBU Vasyl Malyuk said, "Death is the only prospect we can offer the occupiers," the source reminded.

On the morning of July 18, satellites detected fires near Lake Donuzlav in the temporarily occupied Crimea. At night, residents heard explosions there. They noted that it was especially loud in the nearby villages of Myrne and Novoozerne.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

– On July 15, the temporarily occupied Crimea complained about a massive "invasion" of drones. The invaders blocked the traffic on the Crimean bridge.

– Between July 1 and July 14, the Defense Forces struck at least 17 bases and headquarters of the occupiers in the territories temporarily occupied by Russian troops. In addition, the enemy has "dislodged" warehouses with ammunition, fuel, and lubricants.
