The aggressor country Russia is launching a powerful campaign to discredit the Ukrainian leadership. This "special operation" of the Kremlin will concern elections during the war and will last for three to four months. And this time will be quite difficult for Ukraine.
This was stated by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, during a telethon. He emphasized that Ukrainians are ready for any challenges.
According to Danilov, the enemy will rely on the issue of wartime elections in its discrediting campaign, and Russia has already started saying "that they held elections during the war, and we are not."
"The next three to four months will be very difficult for us, because Russia is now launching a very powerful campaign to discredit our leadership. They are starting to say that they are holding elections during the war, and why we are not. This is the kind of nonsense they will rely on. But we are ready for any challenges," the NSDC Secretary said.
He also answered a question about arms supplies to Russia from Iran and the DPRK.
"As for the aid from dictatorial regimes, it will definitely not help them," Danilov said.
As a reminder, the Russian Federation held the so-called presidential elections on March 15-17, 2024, which only the same dictatorial regimes have no questions about. Vladimir Putin was painted an "absolute" victory, including in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. There, in violation of international law, the occupiers also staged a cynical farce against the backdrop of the houses they destroyed.

For this purpose, Moscow is intensively using its agent network, propaganda tools and diplomatic missions.
