Russia has finally refused to repair its ships in the occupied Crimea: Pletenchuk named the reason

The aggressor country, the Russian Federation, has finally refused to repair its warships in the occupied Crimea. The reason is the fear of Ukrainian strikes by the Defense Forces against the Russian invaders' facilities on the Ukrainian peninsula.

This was stated by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Captain Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a telethon on January 8. "We have already proved in practice that it will no longer be possible to use repair bases for the Russian Black Sea Fleet. To restore ships, you first need to bring them there, and now no one will do it," he said.

Pletenchuk recalled the destruction of the "Tsiklon" small missile ship in Sevastopol Bay, two strikes on the "Rostov-on-Don" submarine, and a strike on the "Askold" small missile ship in Kerch.

According to the spokesman, these strikes "suggest" to the occupiers that it is "impossible in principle" to use Crimea for ship repair.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on December 29, Pletenchuk said that the Russian naval logistics in the occupied Ukrainian Crimea had been virtually destroyed. Even the eastern shore of the Azov Sea and the Krasnodar Territory of Russia are no longer in the security zone for the enemy.

It should also be noted that the guerrillas, based on the results of reconnaissance in occupied Sevastopol, discovered ship repair work at the 91st shipyard. Although no new ships are produced there, the facility remains an important component of the Russian Black Sea Fleet's combat capability.
