Pankratov complains about the conditions of admission to the 2024 Games

Two-time Olympic champion Denis Pankratov complained about the allegedly humiliating conditions for Russian athletes to be admitted to the Games in Paris. The former swimmer noted that representatives of the aggressor country would be booed and met with discontent in the French capital.

Pankratov said this in an interview with the propaganda channel Match TV. The winner of the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games in the 100 and 200 meter butterfly added that journalists will ask Russian athletes questions that relate not only to their performances.

"We don't want our athletes to be booed at the start line, but it will happen. Why are we striving for the Olympics? Because it's a celebration, but for our athletes, this celebration will turn into humiliation. You can be the strongest, but even if you win, you will not be appreciated properly. You will be booed, your victory will be questioned, and at the press conference you will answer questions not about how great you are, but about what you think about life on Mars," Pankratov said, forgetting to specify why the Russians found themselves in this situation.

Prior to that, Olympic champion Irina Rodnina made a fabulous claim that world sports "cannot live" without Russia.

As OBOZ.UA reported, for the first time in 40 years, Russia will not broadcast the Olympic Games, which will take place from July 26 to August 11 in Paris.
