Fury and Usyk may fight in winter

This winter, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and Briton Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) may determine the absolute world heavyweight champion. The boxers are expected to fight for all the division titles in Saudi Arabia.

According to the NoSmokeSport.com portal, the organisers of the grand show have abandoned the idea of holding a boxing night on 26 December. Now the working date is 27 January next year. This was confirmed by Usyk's promoter Oleksandr Krasiuk.

It is expected that the main event of the Usyk-Fury fight will be the confrontation between British Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) and American Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs). Earlier, the media published the boxers' fees for the grand show. At the same time, Anthony has already confirmed his fight against Deontay.

On 26 August, Usyk will make a mandatory defence against Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs). Promoter Frank Warren announced that Tyson will not fight Usyk in Saudi Arabia in December this year. This decision of the Gypsy King shocked former world heavyweight champion Tony Bellew.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the famous Russian promoter Vladimir Khryunov wished Oleksandr Usyk defeat in the fight with Daniel Dubois. The Ukrainian and the Briton have already had their first duel of looks before the fight.
