"The silly c***!" Fury lost 150 million pounds betting on Joshua's victory in the fight with Dubois

British heavyweight made a frank confession

Former WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) bet on Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) to win the fight against IBF champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs). After the fight was won by Dubois, Fury lost 150 million pounds (~200 million US dollars).

"That's cost me 150 million pounds, the silly c*** [female genital organ - ed.] This is super heavyweight boxing, shit happens, you get knocked out," Fury told reporters as he left Wembley Stadium after the show.

When asked what went wrong for Joshua, Tyson was concise.

"What went wrong? The same thing that always happens in the heavyweight division: a good right punch to the chin and that's it. I don't know if Anthony will finish his career. It depends on him and what he wants to do. If he has ambitions to come back, he will make the decision himself. He is a grown man. I thought the chances were 50-50. Dubois is much younger. He's 27 years old. Joshua is 35 [actually 34 - ed], just like me. Age doesn't spare anyone. When heavyweights take such blows, you rarely see them get up after falling and continue the fight," summarized the Gypsy King.

It was clear that Fury was stunned by the result, which reduced the chances of him meeting Joshua in 2025.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the International Boxing Federation (IBF) heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) has inflicted a sensational defeat on the former titleholder Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs). The fight for the belt previously held by Usyk ended in a knockout in the fifth round.

Before this fight at Wembley, Oleksandr Usyk was shown on a big screen. The fans in the arena began to applaud our compatriot. It should be noted that the show was attended by 96 thousand spectators, which was a record for boxing attendance in the history of the London stadium.

After the fight, Usyk and Fury took part in a group photo shoot organized by Turki Al Al-Sheikh, head of the General Directorate of Entertainment in Saudi Arabia.
