Russian fans left Gundyaev many unpleasant comments

The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill (Vladimir Gundyaev), criticized the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris and received a lot of ridicule in response. The opening of the 2024 Olympics took place on July 26, after which the organizers faced criticism.

In one of the episodes, transgender actors parodied da Vinci's work The Last Supper, which offended Christians around the world and gathered a lot of angry comments with indignation.

"Today we are witnessing an active de-cultivation, de-cultivation, and there is even a special term to describe the practices that are being introduced into everyday life - 'new normal'. We also see various savagery being adopted into the new culture. The reports from the Olympics are a very pessimistic picture, reflecting the downward trajectory of the spiritual cultural component of Western civilization," Gundyaev said in an interview with TASS.

Russian fans ridiculed such pathos on the part of the patriarch.

"A 100th-level expert, of course. Can he even distinguish the dirt on Regent Street from the dirt on Piccadilly? Or the ashes of a Havana cigar from the ashes of a Manila cigar? Maybe he will also name the composition of the USSR Olympic basketball team in Seoul?", "Razgundel", "I have a question: was the folding cross on his head at that moment in the ON or OFF state?", "Gunya froze the wildness", "This is all we need here..." - Russians do not restrain their emotions.

Users are convinced that nothing can match the level of negativity of the situation in Russia.

"Any report from the Russian Federation, give or take, about anything, is a much more pessimistic picture..." users mock.
