"One can feel disgust": Russia throws a tantrum over Ukraine's NOC recommendations to athletes before the Olympics

Mamiashvili criticized Ukrainians

Mikhail Mamiashvili, President of the Russian Wrestling Federation (FSBR), was furious over the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine's (NOC) recommendations to athletes regarding contacts with representatives of the Russian Federation and Belarus at the 2024 Games. He threw a tantrum because of the clause on detecting violations of the conditions of admission of athletes from the aggressor country.

Mamiashvili said this in an interview with Sport24. The champion of the Seoul 88 Games and an accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime called Ukrainians informers and outcasts in world sports, forgetting that Russia has unleashed a criminal war against our country.

"So far, none of the Russians are going to Paris - they are in the process of winning the right to participate in the Olympic Games. This is a technical component that takes place without these snitches. Well, what else can you call these people? One can feel another disgust in all the requirements of the NOC of Ukraine! I don't even want to dig into it. With the eternal denunciations, slander and begging, Ukrainians have slowly become outcasts for the entire sports community. Unfortunately, they are being put in such conditions, but they will not get away with it. With God's help, everything will soon fall into place," said Mamiashvili.

Earlier, two-time Olympic champion Dmitry Vasiliev made false accusations against the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for banning the display of the war symbol Z at the Paris Games.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, legendary hockey goalkeeper Dominik Hasek criticized the IOC for allowing Russian athletes to participate in the 2024 Olympics.
