"No, thank you." Fury names the only condition under which he will agree to fight Usyk

The owner of the World Boxing Council (WBC) belt, Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs), demanded that Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) refuse a large fee for the right to hold a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. The Gypsy King, as the Manchester native is known, added that he is not particularly interested in historical heritage.

Fury said this in an interview with the Fight Hub YouTube channel, Boxing Social reports. The British boxer emphasized that he is now fully focused on his fight with former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion Francis Ngannou, which will take place on October 26.

"Have I ever said that I want an absolute championship? Have you ever heard that that was my priority? It was always some other little fucking dream. Now I'm dealing with Ngannou. If the other little sausage wants to fight for the title of absolute, and if he's willing to take a small percentage, then we can make it happen. If he asks for a lot, I'll say no thanks. Usyk and his team are c***ers. They were offered a fight at Wembley, and we moved on. That's all," Fury said.

Earlier, Tyson said he was refusing to fight Usyk. Prior to that, insider Mike Coppinger said that promoters were optimistic about the chances of organizing a fight between the Ukrainian and the Briton.
