British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) did not evaluate the fight between Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) and Dequan Haney (30-0, 15 KOs). The Gypsy King, as the Manchester-born fighter is known, admitted that he tries to ignore the opinions of experts and journalists.

Fury said this in an interview with the Sporting News Australia YouTube channel. According to the British holder of the World Boxing Council (WBC), he will be able to comment on the controversial defeat of the Ukrainian former world champion in three weight categories when he watches the fight.

"I didn't watch the fight, but I read a lot of reviews. A lot of people think it was a robbery, but I didn't watch the fight and I'm not interested in what people say. It will be recalled that the lightweight fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena between Haney and Lomachenko lasted all 12 rounds and ended with a unanimous decision of 116-112, 115-113, 115-113 in favour of the American. It is worth noting that the judges' notes, which were published after the fight, caused fierce debate among experts and fans.
