"It's a disgrace" Russia stood up for Lomachenko after his fight with Haynie

Ukrainian boxer and former three-division world champion Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) received many public messages of support from his Russian fans. The fans were outraged by the judges' decision to give the win to WBO, WBC, IBF, WBA lightweight titleholder Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs).

The users call the situation a disgrace and robbery.

The Russians are very hurt for their idol.

In Russia they don't understand how Haney could win if even bookmakers were betting on the Ukrainian.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, the lightweight fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena went all 12 rounds and ended with a unanimous decision of the judges 116-112, 115-113, 115-113 in favor of the American.

After the loss, Lomachenko couldn't contain his emotions and burst into tears while waiting for the press conference.
