The house of Andriy Shevchenko, the legendary striker for Dynamo Kyiv, AC Milan and the Ukrainian national team, has come under fire several times in Kyiv. According to the new head of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), the building's windows were smashed.

Shevchenko said this in an interview with the Bombardier YouTube channel. The former national team coach noted that he is not afraid of the Russian occupiers' missile attacks, as he has decided to stay in Ukraine permanently and start working as the UAF president.

"Yes, it came near the house. It was not the first time. There have been several such situations over the past two years. Are you afraid of shelling? I have already made my choice, I said it. I made this choice two or three days after the start of the full-scale war. It is correct to say that the war started in 2014. It is true. I said that I would help, talk, and tell. I want to be the voice that will tell what is happening in Ukraine. After my first visit and communication with my friends, with the military, who are on the front line, I realized that I need to do this all the time," Shevchenko said.

Andriy Shevchenko protests against the war in Ukraine.

Earlier, the football legend spoke about the departure of young players abroad, as well as how to interact with them so that compatriots return to the country.
