Hearn speaks about the fight between Usyk and Fury

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) and British boxer Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) will fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. Both boxers have agreed to sign a contract that includes the option of a rematch, regardless of the outcome of the first heavyweight fight.

Eddie Hearn, Usyk's British co-promoter, made this announcement in an interview with iFL TV. According to him, he is incredibly pleased that all parties have finally managed to reach an agreement and organize the first ever super-heavyweight fight for four championship belts. The Briton also named his compatriot's likely fee.

"I think Tyson Fury will earn more than 100 million dollars for the fights with Ngannou and Usyk. 30 million and 70 million or 30 and 80, something like that. But I heard that the contract includes an option for a rematch no matter what happens. So the fee will be even higher. Fights like this will have a great impact on the boxing ecosystem. We need to have these fights..." said Hearn.

On September 29, it became known that Usyk and Fury signed a contract for a fight for the title of absolute world champion. The media found out that the fight would take place before the new year or in January.

Earlier, former world champion in two weight categories Paul Malignaggi expressed confidence that Tyson would avoid the fight. And former European Boxing Union (EBU) champion Spencer Oliver predicted Usyk's defeat in the fight against Fury.
