Olympic champion Vyacheslav Fetisov is outraged by eligibility conditions of Russian athletes to international competitions. The legendary hockey player, in particular, called the possible invitation of representatives of the aggressor country to the 2024 Games in Paris as a refugee team humiliating.
Fetisov said this in an interview with the propaganda channel Match TV. The two-time Stanley Cup winner does not believe that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will decide to admit Russian athletes to next year's Olympic Games and also spoke out against traveling to the French capital without a flag and anthem.

"Playin as refugees is a humiliating story. Of course, everyone can make their own decision, they can live with it... But today, I think we should be there with the flag and anthem. The qualifying starts are underway and we are not taking part in them. How will they let us into the Games? If they have reserved places for us, what will they say afterwards... How will they admit Russian athletes? They are messing with our heads," Fetisov said.
