Senchenko evaluated the second fight between Usyk and Fury

Famous Ukrainian boxer and now coach Vyacheslav Senchenko expressed confidence that Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) will defeat Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) in the second fight. The former world champion noted that the British heavyweight has passed the peak of his form and will not be able to withstand our compatriot.

Senchenko expressed this opinion in an interview with ukrsport.pro. The 47-year-old native of Kremenchuk, who fought in the welterweight category, did not rule out that the rematch between Usyk and Fury would end early and also doubts Tyson's ability to work on his mistakes.

"I think Usyk will be able to beat Fury. It is quite possible that it will even be an early victory for the Ukrainian. Fury has just passed his peak, he's on the decline. I don't think he will be better than in the first fight. Therefore, I believe that Oleksandr Usyk will be able to win this fight," Senchenko said.

In the first fight, Oleksandr defeated Tyson by split decision – 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 – and became the absolute world heavyweight champion.

A month after the fight, on May 18, the Ukrainian was forced to give up the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt, which was defended by Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) on September 21, brutally knocking out Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs).

Before that, Oleksandr spoke categorically about what would happen if Tyson tried to disrupt the rematch. He also shared his expectations for the second fight with Fury and responded to accusations of cheating during the May 18 fight. In addition, Oleksandr told what he learned from this fight.

The legendary Volodymyr Klychko shared his expectations for the rematch between Usyk and Fury. And ex-champion Amir Khan disagreed with the forecasts for the fight's repeat. In addition, Russian Alexander Povetkin attributed the success of our compatriot to Russia.

In turn, Russian boxing coach Andrei Ivichuk called Tyson the winner of the upcoming rematch with Alexander. And the Ukrainian named the only boxer he is interested in fighting after the second fight with the Briton.

In addition, Joshua answered the question of who he would like to see win the rematch between Usyk and Fury. The Briton himself named his motivation for the second fight against our compatriot. He also told us when he would start preparing for the fight.
