"For the sixth time in a row": Russian Olympic champion calls Putin's re-election crucial for the whole world
Two-time Olympic hockey champion Vyacheslav Fetisov has made an epic bow to Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin. The State Duma deputy called the so-called presidential elections in Russia on March 15-17 crucial for the whole world.
Fetisov said this in an interview with the propaganda channel Match TV. The two-time Stanley Cup winner announced that he had already taken part in the voting and pathetically called on his compatriots to follow his example to protect the future Russian terrorist state.
"We, the legends of world hockey, were among the first to vote in the elections. Four generations of hockey players flew to Norilsk for a charity match. We rarely travel anywhere with such a team, although this is the sixth time in a row that we have held a hockey game in Taimyr. It coincidentally happened that today is the election day in the country. And I think it is very important for all of us to come and vote, because the future of not only our country, but the whole world is being decided," said Fetisov.
Earlier, figure skater Kamila Valiyeva, who was banned for four years for doping, complained that she would not be able to vote for Putin in the election. The 17-year-old athlete is already being called a "replacement for Kabayeva " in the Kremlin leader's circle.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach accused Russia and Vladimir Putin of using figure skater Kamilya Valiyeva for political purposes.
