"Disgrace": Russian Olympic champion throws a tantrum over Ukraine's call to ban war fans from 2024 Games

Mamiashvili criticized Ukrainians

The head of the Russian Wrestling Federation (FSB), Mikhail Mamiashvili, is outraged by Ukraine's demand to exclude nine Russian wrestlers from the 2024 Olympic Games. The Seoul 88 champion called this appeal by our country to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) a "humiliating thing."

Mamiashvili said this in an interview with the propaganda news agency TASS. The Vladimir Putin regime's henchman and native of Konotop, Ukraine, complained that our National Olympic Committee (NOC) demands that war fans not be allowed to participate in the Paris Games.

"One can only regret this, no matter what conditions life circumstances offer, something human must remain in any case. Unfortunately, we see these humiliating things, the disgrace into which our brothers are being turned by the political leadership of Ukraine, who are replicating this humiliating procedure. This did not appear yesterday," Mamiashvili said hypocritically.

The NOC of Ukraine sent a letter to the IOC stating that Vanessa Kolodinskaya from Belarus and Russians Zaurbek Sidakov, Zaur Uguev, Milada Alirzaeva, Sergey Semenov, Nadezhda Sokolova, Alina Kasabieva, Khanum Veliyev, Natalia Malysheva and Artur Nayfonov do not meet the status of athletes due to their open support of the criminal war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Earlier, two-time Olympic champion Abdulrashid Sadulayev was not allowed to attend the qualifying tournament in Baku. Russia immediately blamed Ukraine for this.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, FSB head Mikhail Mamiashvili lashed out at the IOC, calling the organization "a bunch of sectarians, scoundrels, and fraudsters."
