Pavlova supports the war

Olga Pavlova, vice-president of the Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation, has accused the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and its president Thomas Bach of doping scandals in world sport. She accused the organization of discrimination on national grounds because of the punishment of the head coach of the Russian national team Tatyana Pokrovskaya.

Pavlova said this in a commentary to the Match TV propaganda channel. The member of the United Russia party called the IOC a "fascist organization", forgetting about the criminal war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the state doping system organized by the aggressor country.

"Pokrovskaya showed the soul of Russia, water dancing, on the international stage for many years. Now she is suspended because the international movement with Thomas Bach is mired in corruption and doping scandals and it is now essentially a fascist organization. People from World Aquatics have banned Russians from voting, speaking in the mixt zones and giving interviews. What competitions should our athletes go to, if they have to pass the selection, but half of the team is simply eliminated," Pavlova said.

Pokrovskaya earlier called the suspension of the Russian national team from international competitions a revenge for winning six Olympic Games.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called Russia's suspension from international competitions one of the manifestations of "perversion of the Olympic movement" that "the Anglo-Saxons and the rest of the NATOs have propagating." She also said that "the world has one last chance to save world sport."
