"League of Laughter" star Viktor Rozovyi, who was wounded in the war, showed his photo after a coma
The star of the comedy show "League of Laughter" and war veteran Viktor Rozovyi showed how he looked after coming out of a coma. In the first days of the full-scale invasion, the comedian stood up to defend his homeland, and in March 2024, he received a complicated shrapnel wound to his head.
On his Instagram, the defense lawyer shared an archive photo from his hospital room. The comedian described in more detail how he was seriously injured and what consequences he had to face.
"This photo was taken in the first days when I came out of a coma after a shrapnel head wound. A 120mm mine fell less than a meter from my trench, and a fragment pierced the trench and my helmet. My right and partially left hemispheres of the brain were damaged. Imagine – a headshot, and I am still alive. But there are some nuances," the defense attorney wrote.
According to Viktor Rozovyi, such a complex injury significantly affected his health and general condition. According to the 36-year-old veteran, his left limbs suffered the most, as he developed hemiparesis (weakness of a certain part of the body) and spasticity (increased muscle tone). In addition, he faced visual-spatial impairment.
"The left hemisphere of the brain was also partially affected, which means paresis of the right foot. My eardrums burst and I have poor hearing in the left ear, while the right eardrum recovered on its own. In terms of cognition, everything seems to be fine, except that it's a little difficult for me to concentrate because I'm easily distracted by some trifles," the League of Laughs star said.
Viktor Rozovyi admitted that he is not sure whether he will be able to return to the physical condition he had in March this year when he was at his position in Orlivka near Avdiivka. However, the veteran does not give up, as he is convinced that every day he will become better than he was yesterday.
We remind you that on March 21, 2024, Viktor Rozovyi, who joined the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, received a complicated shrapnel wound to his head. Then the defender's comrades-in-arms took him to a medical facility for about 200 kilometers.
