During the last three fights of WBA, WBO, IBF and WBC heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), three prominent figures supporting the invasion of Ukraine died. While Usyk was fighting, Daria, the daughter of Russian World ideologue and Putin's brain Alexander Dugin, Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Wagner PMC, and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi died.

On August 20, Usyk had his rematch with Anthony Joshua. At the same time, Daria Dugina's car was blown up in the Moscow region.

On August 27, Oleksandr had his victorious fight with Daniel Dubois. 4 days before, a business jet belonging to Prigozhin crashed in the Tver region.

On May 18, Usyk defeated Fury and became the absolute world champion. The next day, Ibrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash.
