Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhii Rebrov praised his players for the Nations League match against Georgia, in which the Blue and Yellows won their first victory in the tournament. The coach noted that the game turned out to be very difficult, but our players adhered to the plan for the match.

Rebrov said this at a press conference after the match. The 50-year-old specialist was also asked about the conflict with the Georgian national team players in the second half of the match, but the Ukrainian coach urged not to look for any negative, emphasizing that the episode was absolutely normal.

"I am always focused. I don't get distracted by outside factors. All of the debutants gave their best and, most importantly, produced a result that is very important now. Intensity? Didn't you see it in the two previous matches? I don't know, I saw it. We wanted to win those games against the Czech Republic and Albania, but we conceded five goals there. Today, the result came first. The skirmish with the Georgian players in the second half? Listen, you are always looking for something. Well, we shouted at each other. Everything is fine," Rebrov said.

It should be noted that the victory over Georgia allowed the Ukrainians to score the first three points in the new Nations League draw and improve their chances of qualifying for the top flight. The Blue and Yellows will play their next match against the Czech Republic on October 14.
