Trubin is close to leaving Shakhtar

Ukraine goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin may become a player of Inter Milan in the coming weeks. The Champions League finalists intend to upgrade their goalkeeping line after Cameroonian Andre Onana decided to join Manchester United.

According to the authoritative publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, representatives of Inter and Shakhtar have already held talks that are in an active and advanced phase. The Italians would like to sign Trubin for €10 million, but the Miners are clearly determined to sell the 21-year-old for much more. It should not be forgotten that Anatoliy refused to extend his contract with the Donetsk club, which expires next summer.

In addition, Inter are also working on the transfer of experienced Swiss goalkeeper Jan Sommer from Bayern Munich. The 34-year-old goalkeeper is set to leave FC Hollywood after Manuel Neuer returns to action.

It should be noted that despite his young age, Trubin has already played 22 matches in the main draw of European Cup tournaments, with five of them being drawn. This season, Anatoliy has played 38 matches for Shakhtar in all competitions, in which he conceded 40 goals. The footballer has also played seven games for the Ukrainian national team.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Shakhtar Donetsk has named a new head coach to replace Croatian Igor Jovicevic.
