On Sunday, 9 July, the Ukrainian men's youth basketball team won its second victory at the U-20 European Championship in Skopje in Division B. Our compatriots defeated Azerbaijan 94-57 in the 3rd round.
Our team needs to take first or second place in the group to reach the U-20 European Championship play-offs and continue to fight for promotion.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the blue and yellow team started the tournament with an important and confident 82:55 victory over Georgia.
The day before, Dmytro Zabirchenko's team lost to Sweden 80:83.
The Yellow and Blues will play their next game on Wednesday, 12 July, against Kosovo. The game starts at 14:30 Kyiv time.
