Ukraine national soccer team will not play any friendly matches before the game with Italy
Ukraine's national football team will not play a friendly match before the final qualifying match for the 2024 European Championship against Italy. The last match in the qualifiers will be formally a home match for us and will take place on November 20.
Journalist and blogger Viktor Vatsko said that our team is not planning any sparring matches during the free window. The 9th round of the Euro 2024 qualifiers will take place on November 16-18, and Rebrov's team is missing it on the calendar.
"As far as I understand and according to the information at the moment we will not play a friendly match with anyone in November. Maybe something will change," Vatsko said.
On the other hand. Vatsko expressed his personal opinion that he doesn't see it that way. The match against Italy in the 10th round will likely be the final in this qualification.
"Why waste emotions and energy on some kind of control match before the decisive meeting," Viktor said.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Ukraine's national team lost to Italy in the 6th round of the European Football Championship qualifiers. The match at the San Siro Stadium in Milan ended with a score of 2:1.
