The famous figure skating coach Tatiana Tarasova was outraged by the decision of the International Skating Union (ISU) to extend the suspension of Russians from competitions. She called the approval of new sanctions a crime against the aggressor country, which is trying to destroy figure skating.

Tarasova told Sport24. She added that the ISU allegedly took a criminal decision and "took away even the hope" of Russians to participate in international tournaments.

"They want to destroy our figure skating, but they have nothing to replace us. They even took away our hope, but we won't collapse. Rather, they will collapse with each new season without our skaters. This is a crime that is aimed at the destruction of our great school of figure skating. Unfair and despicable decision from ISU," said the famous coach.

"I did not expect such a decision, I could not even assume that nothing would be punished so harshly. It's just a mockery of us. No one has ever sat on a two-year suspension," she added in a comment to the propaganda news agency TASS.

Note that the ISU decision to extend the suspension of the Russians and Belarusians caused quite a stir in Russia.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, famous Russian figure skaters Diana Davis and Gleb Smolkin decided to perform for the Georgian national team. 20-year-old Diana and 23-year-old Smolkin have already added the Georgian flag to their profile descriptions in social networks.
