"They can say whatever they want": Russian champion doesn't care about Usyk

Russian light-heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev (20-0, 20 KOs) reacted indifferently to Oleksandr Usyk's (22-0, 14 KOs) prediction of his fight against his compatriot Dmitry Bivol (23-0, 12 KOs). The boxers from the aggressor country, who are shyly hiding under the flags of Canada and Kyrgyzstan, will fight on October 12 for all the belts of the division.

Back in June, our compatriot called Bivol the winner of the fight, noting that the Tokmak native works well on his feet, defends well, and delivers magnificent combinations. In an interview with Pro Boxing Fans, Beterbiev said that he didn't care about the Ukrainian's opinion.

"They can say whatever they want. I don't think about it. I don't think about who said what and who didn't say what. I'm focused solely on the fight," said the "Canadian" Beterbiev, who previously called the so-called head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov his brother.

It should be noted that Bivol and Beterbiev were supposed to fight on June 1, but the fight was postponed due to Artur's injury. Bookmakers agree with Usyk, giving preference to Dmitry, but the bets on the boxers' victory are very close – 1.8 on the leader versus 2.1 on his opponent.
