Mamiashvili criticized Ukrainians

The Russian Wrestling Federation (IWF) has called the decision of Ukrainian athletes to refuse to shake hands with representatives of the Russian Federation at the junior world championship insane. At the same time, the aggressor country pretends that it does not care about such an attitude towards its athletes.

This was stated by IWF President Mikhail Mamiashvili in a commentary to the Match TV propaganda channel. The Seoul-88 Olympic champion added that "no one will complain to us," and also repeated typical Russian clichés about sports outside politics.

"There is no limit to the madness. No one will complain about us, we need to be strong and win. Sport should be out of politics," Mamiashvili said.

Earlier, the Russian functionary called opponents of Russia's war in Ukraine an "aggressive minority" that "imposes outrage." He also spoke in favor of "going to Paris on tanks" after the information about the IOC plans to admit Russians to the Olympics-2024 in the status of the refugee team.
