"I had a lot of fun playing. I want to thank my partner, my boyfriend and my team. Of course, I want to inspire all the people in Ukraine because they are all fighting for freedom in our country right now. I hope that I have added some positive moments to their day," said Kichenok.

In response, the stands of the packed stadium gave our compatriot a standing ovation.
