The act of the former Russian figure skater who fled to the United States earlier "blew up" the Russian patriots

Former Russian figure skater Annabelle Morozov posted a photo with the American flag. The 23-year-old athlete became a U.S. citizen in the spring of 2024.

Morozov became the vice-champion at the Lombardia Trophy ice dancing challenge tournament. In the first picture, the athlete was photographed with her partner Jeffrey Chen, and in the second one, she was also photographed with one of the duo's coaches, Charlie White.

"Thank you Lombardia Trophy. Lots of great memories here. Onward and upward," the skater wrote on her Instagram page.

This act of the ex-Russian woman provoked violent comments from her compatriots. Russian turbopatriots were especially outraged.

"This schmuck can go to hell!" Disgusting", "To hell with her. Just don't let her come back," "What kind of traitor are you showing us? We need to forget about such people once and for all," users from the Russian Federation wrote.

In the 2023/2024 season, Morozov performed for Russia in a duet with Igor Eremenko, coached by Angelika Krylova and the skater's father, Nikolai Morozov. In the spring of 2024, it became known that the couple broke up and Annabelle joined the US national team.
