"Shebekino was completely demolished": a Russian MMA champion complained about the "Ukrainian offensive"
Russian Bellator bantamweight champion Vadim Nemkov admitted that he is used to constant explosions in Belgorod region, which often comes under fire of his own army. He added that the town of Shebekino "has been completely blown apart already.
The mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter said this in an interview with the YouTube channel Ushatayka. According to the athlete, some of his acquaintances have personally faced the consequences of the war unleashed by Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin against Ukraine in February of last year.
"I'm used to it. There's always something flying in, shooting. You get used to it, to be honest. If at first it was all a wonder, now we are used to it. But now there is an aggravation - an offensive from Ukraine. They are shelling, Shebekino has already been completely demolished. Belgorod, in principle, no change. As some missiles were fired, air defense shoots everything down. My friends, who live in Shebekino, it flew to them when it escalated. Now it has calmed down," Nemkov said.
Note that at the end of April, Russian Su-34 fighter jets dropped three air bombs on Belgorod, intending to launch them at Ukraine. And Shebekino was kept under control for several days by fighters of the Russian Volunteer Corps.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Russian MMA fighter Vladimir Mineyev became a laughing stock on the network after he said he was very much looking forward to returning to the war in Ukraine.
