Andrey Solomatin speaks out about Russia's course

Former Russian national footballer Andrey Solomatin, who won the 2003 national championship with CSKA Moscow, believes that Russia's main goal is to show the rest of the world the wrong course. Allegedly, only what Russia does is unequivocally correct.

When asked by a Russian journalist whether he had an understanding of where the country was heading, the 47-year-old Muscovite confidently stated that he did.

"We have to explain to everyone over time that they were wrong. To everyone who is on the other side of the barricades. The West, first of all," Match TV quoted the former athlete as saying.

When the interviewer clarified what Russia wanted to become, Solomatin admitted that he had not thought about it. Instead, the Russian began to recount propaganda narratives about a "freezing Europe".

"Personally, I want people to live comfortably in our country, so that other countries would envy us. In Germany, there are healthy people. They understand that the sanctions have been imposed, but only the Germans are in the shit now, and we have everything in our supermarkets. And people live well," the former footballer said.

In the comments, fans were unable to contain their emotions at this passage by their former idol.

"He's a f*cking idiot", "Even militant patriotic grandmothers have more sensible arguments than him! Germans are just crying at night because of envy and a bad life!" - they write in the comments.

Users are amazed at the footballer's low intelligence.

"Negative selection in action. For more than a hundred years we have been getting rid of those who can think and this is the result. Sharikovs, Shvonders, Solomatinovs," users note.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Solomatin called his country's war against Ukraine absolutely right, complaining that Ukrainian schools allegedly call for fighting against everything related to the Russian Federation.

In addition, the former CSKA player expressed his admiration for the Kremlin dictator, noting that the president's decision to start a war against Ukraine "should not be afraid to be accepted".
