The President of the International Boxing Association (IBA), Umar Kremlyov (real name Lutfulloyev), has issued a spectacular rant about the global significance of the so-called Friendship Games, which Russia was going to hold this year as an alternative to the 2024 Winter Olympics. The Vladimir Putin regime's henchman also repeated propaganda narratives about the alleged politicization of sports.

Kremlyov said this in an interview with Match TV. The ardent fan of Russia's war against Ukraine and Z-patriot noted that the Friendship Games are allegedly being held on the initiative of the athletes themselves, who suffer from poor funding for the tournaments.

"The whole world wanted the Friendship Games, given the situation. The Olympic Movement is not living up to its position and is losing credibility in the world of sports. Nowadays, sport has turned into gladiatorial fights: princes and presidents make a lineup, and athletes are brought in like slaves and then taken away. Athletes do not receive any money. "The Friendship Games were created at the call of the athletes themselves," Kremlyov said.
