Former world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko has discussed in his social networks about the trials people go through. The 35-year-old native of Belgorod-Dnestrovskyi is sure that all difficulties are given to us in order for us to learn to overcome them without worrying too much.
"Here, on earth, there is nothing that can give us peace: neither wealth, nor honor, nor fame, nor position in society, nor our relatives and friends can give us serene and unshakable peace of mind. The only Giver of life, joy and peace is God. He gives rest, silence and joy to the angels and saints and to us here on earth," Vasyl wrote.
Lomachenko accompanied his post with the Russian movie "Mama, I'm going to the convent" about a girl Lena, who was a successful Muscovite, but at one point decided to change her life. The 23-year-old Russian ran her own modeling agency, wrote music, but became a nun in a convent in Orsk.
As reported OBOZREVATEL, not so long ago in Instagram Lomachenko called for unity of the Ukrainian people. He quoted "Spiritual teachings" of Archimandrite Thaddeus Vitovnitsky (1914-2003) from Serbia, in which he, in particular, predicts the end of the world with the words "the evil of Satan has taken hold of Russia".
Earlier Vasyl Lomachenko made an unequivocal decision on his career because of the war in Ukraine. Before that, the boxer did not react in any way to the rocket fire on Odessa on July 23.
