Former three heavyweight titleholder Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) is suspended from boxing after his fight with undisputed world champion Devin Haney (30-0, 15 KOs), which took place on the night of May 21 in the United States. Such decision was made by the Nevada State Athletic Commission of America.

Information about it appeared on the statistical resource BoxRec. So far, the suspension of the former world lightweight champion has been imposed until June 20.

The functionaries made the same decision for Devin, but his term is two weeks longer than that of the Ukrainian.

It is worth noting that boxing officials in the United States often do this after fights. Usually to make sure that the boxers' health is not threatened. After a medical examination, the suspensions are lifted from the athletes.

Vasiliy received a similar suspension last November after his fight with American Jemaine Ortiz (16-1-1, 8 KOs).

As reported OBOZREVATEL, the fight Lomachenko - Haney at MGM Grand Garden Arena went all 12 rounds and ended with a unanimous decision of the judges 116-112, 115-113, 115-113 in favor of the American.

Vasyl and many experts from the boxing world were outraged that the judges gave the advantage to the current title holder. The word "robbery" even flashed on the net in relation to the Ukrainian.

After the defeat, Vasily could not contain his emotions and burst into tears while waiting for the press conference.

Loma was defended by Russian fans, who called the refereeing a disgrace.
