Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi received an autographed T-shirt from the famous Argentine striker of Inter Miami Lionel Messi. A photo of the present was posted on Facebook by a well-known Kharkiv philanthropist Yurii Sapronov.

Sapronov admitted that when he was in Miami, he was able to attend a training session and meet the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner with the help of the club's Ukrainian legionnaire Serhii Kryvtsov. It was an impossible task for Leo to write the Ukrainian general's name, so he limited himself to the laconic inscription "Valery."

In response, Messi received a copy of the Times magazine with Zaluzhnyi on the cover, signed by the main character of the story.

"I had the honor to meet and talk to a wise general yesterday. A human general. Not for the first time. I would like to do it more often, but I don't abuse it. I'll show off a photo after the victory. It turns out that the plan of the Armed Forces for 2024 hangs in the most prominent place. I didn't ask for anything, didn't sign anything. I listened, listened and listened..." Sapronov wrote.

Later, Yurii admitted in his comments that he had actually asked Zaluzhnyi for a Patriot SAM for Kharkiv.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, a survey by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology showed that 92% of Ukrainians trust the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces. Only 5% of respondents expressed distrust of the military leader.
