It's official. Shakhtar have sold the Ukraine goalkeeper to the most titled club in Portugal
Ukraine and Shakhtar goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin has joined Benfica. The 22-year-old native of Donetsk was sold for €10 million plus a €1 million bonus.
It is also reported that the Ukrainian champion will be entitled to 40% of the value of the player's next transfer. Trubin's contract with the 38-time Portuguese champion is for 5 years.
If any club wants to get our player ahead of schedule, Benfica will have to pay 100,000,000 euros.
Anatoliy played 94 matches in all competitions for the Shakhtar, conceding 94 goals. Trubin finished 39 matches in the clean sheet. Wearing an orange and black shirt, the goalkeeper won the Ukrainian championship three times, and became the winner of the country's Cup and Super Cup.
He has twice been named the best goalkeeper of the Ukrainian Premier League.
Trubin made his debut for the national team of Ukraine on 31 March 2021 in the home match of the third round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan, becoming the youngest goalkeeper to play in an official match of our national team: 19 years and 242 days.
Anatoliy played the entire match and conceded a goal in the 59th minute from Serikzhan Muzhykov.
