"It's better not to come out at all": Russian champion gives categorical forecast for Usyk – Fury fight

Russian unified light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (22-0, 11 KOs) named Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) as the favorite to face Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs). The native of Tokmak, Kyrgyzstan, noted that the Briton had a lackluster fight against Francis Ngannou (0-2, 0 KOs), which called into question his class.

Bivol expressed this opinion in an interview with the Ushatayka YouTube channel. The 33-year-old boxer noted that if Fury has a bad training camp and doesn't get in shape, he shouldn't go into the ring against Usyk, who, for his part, showed great results in his fights with Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs).

"I would bet on Usyk. Today I have a feeling he has a better chance. Because what I saw in Fury's fight with Ngannou did not impress me at all. A boxer is usually judged by his last fight. In this form, he shouldn't come out for a fight at all. Fury can make a surprise, but Usyk is also a difficult guy. He's had two fights with Joshua. This is a huge experience," said Bivol.

Before that, Tyson promised to beat Usyk easily and also mentioned the war in Ukraine. For his part, Oleksandr told what he would do if the Briton refused to enter the ring on May 18.
