Hasek criticized Kaprizov

Legendary Czech goalkeeper Dominik Hasek has spoken out sharply against Russian players of the National Hockey League (NHL), who called the new Russian ban from international tournaments unfair. In particular, the Nagano 98 Olympic champion criticized Kirill Kaprizov, who complained about the sanctions.

Hasek wrote about this on his page on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter. The two-time Stanley Cup winner emphasized the Minnesota Wild forward's hypocrisy, calling his desire to play for the Russian terrorist state's national team support for the murder of Ukrainians.

"Is it fair?" Is it fair to kill and maim hundreds of thousands of people on the territory of another country? Do you really want to represent such a terrorist country as Russia? If so, you are a supporter of fascism and are responsible for the deaths of Ukrainian people," Hasek emphasized.

It is worth noting that the Czech ex-goalkeeper has been a vocal supporter of Ukraine. After a trip to Kyiv and Kharkiv last summer, he recorded a video message to Ukrainians, wishing them to "drive away the Russian sh*t." In addition, Olympic champion Vyacheslav Fetisov threw a real tantrum over the Czech's remarks.

Earlier, Dominic said that Russians have no right to compete in international tournaments "until they leave Ukraine and put Putin on trial." He also demanded that Russia pay reparations to our country.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Dominik Hasek was accused of hypocrisy after taking part in the opening ceremony of an NHL game. In response, the former goalkeeper apologized for this step and called it a mistake. And Russian hockey player Evgeny Malkin demanded that the NHL boycott the Olympics without Russia.
