The President of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation, Yelena Välbe, has made an epic bend to the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin. The three-time Olympic champion gave out the traditional narratives of Kremlin propaganda about the greatness of the president of a terrorist state.

Välbe said this in an interview with the TASS news agency. The Putin regime's henchwoman justified the Kremlin head for the state of the aggressor country, where most residents live below the poverty line, lacking basic living conditions. The former skier called it a problem of the local authorities, forgetting to specify that they are appointed by the dictator himself.

"I am saying this absolutely sincerely, so that this goldfish will give the president as much health as possible. I love our president madly, he is the last of the Mohicans. If it were not for him, there would be no people left. In general, I want to say that sometimes I am surprised by the question of a direct line. For example, when he is asked to fix a well at some old lady's house, is it a question? It is not the president, or even governors, who should deal with these specific issues, but the heads of municipal districts," said Välbe.

On December 8, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) allowed Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in the 2024 Olympics in neutral status. However, this applies only to individual events, and the athletes themselves must meet certain criteria. In response, swimmer Yevgeny Rylov refused to travel to Paris, and the rhythmic gymnastics team announced a boycott of the tournament in its entirety.
